As a leader in the locker and storage industry, Hollman is committed to sustainability and taking environmental responsibility. In honor of Earth Day, we want to highlight our efforts to reduce our environmental impact and protect our planet.

Hollman is proud to have earned several certifications that demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. We are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which ensures that wood products come from responsibly managed forests. We are also certified by the Green Business Bureau, scored at platinum level, based on our low carbon footprint and implementation of green initiatives. In addition, our locker manufacturing facility is LEED certified, which means that it was built using sustainable materials and processes.

Responsible Sourcing & Low Emissions:

Our materials are sourced from responsible suppliers and supply environmentally-friendly options whenever possible. We use low-emitting adhesives, sealants, paints, coatings, composite wood, and AgriFiber products to aid emissions.

Environmental Awareness & Waste Reduction:  

Hollman has completed and received a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). An EPD is a transparent, objective report that communicates what a product is made of and how it impacts the environment across its entire life cycle.

We are proud of our comprehensive recycling program at our manufacturing facility, resulting in a 98.76 Waste Diversion Rate.

        Smart Lock Integration in Gyms

        See which of our new smart lock solutions is best for your gym.

        Easily operated with minimal maintenance, smart lock technology is rising in popularity as a lock solution within the fitness industry. Having a cloud-based system, operational costs are reduced with unnecessary servers or software. Smart locks have many benefits that traditional or digital locks can’t accommodate. 

        Smart lock systems are managed through cloud-based software that employees can easily access and manage. The technology is user-friendly, meaning members are encouraged to control their own locker usage, allowing employees to focus on operations. Members can reserve, claim, use, and leave a locker based off the operational settings of the lock – giving users the freedom to store wherever and whenever they want.

        KEYNIUS

        Whether through The Smarty terminal or the Keynius App, members can access a locker of their choice based on availability. The lock system is keyless, removing the pain of carrying a key around the facility or a member misplacing one. Each locker will track its activity, allowing employees to track usage and have quick access to the lockers if needed.  

        Members can feel secure about their belongings being inside our smart lock system,  the likelihood that a locker code can be guessed is highly unlikely. With the contactless system, break-ins are a problem of the past with doors that are developed with a 2-in-1 lock that can either be push-to-open or pop-to-open. 

        Keynius Highlights:

        • Encrypted data, guaranteeing personal data is protected
        • Mobile app for both users and facility management

        OJMAR PULSE

        The Ojmar Pulse was designed with flexibility and functionality, providing a smart lock solution that can be used through RFID access. The easy plug-and-play lock system allows gyms to install quickly with a standard internet connection and manage through PC, tablet or smartphones. Through the software, employees can see which lockers are used the most, lock status, and battery level.

        With convenience in mind, members can avoid crowded locker rooms with easy access and visibility of locker use through colored signals on the locks. The lockers are used through a member’s app, membership tag, or card.

        Ojmar Pulse Highlights:

        • Can configure locks to the environment, easily changed via terminal
        • Aesthetically appealing
        • Low to no direct operational touch
        • RFIDs can have set expiration dates
