The Hollman Research & Development team has worked alongside many well-known companies and sports teams like the Dallas Mavericks to develop healthy locker solutions. The Dallas Mavericks incorporated Nanolam, an anti-microbial surface to their lockers to protect the health and well-being of their athletes. Republic Services, a waste management company has a mission of creating a cleaner, safer, and healthier world. They trusted Hollman locker to provide a locker solution to help keep their employees safe.
Locker surfaces in public facilities can be touched thousands of times a day creating an opportunity for a surface to be highly contaminated with bacteria. Germs such as Staph infection can spread due to their ability to persist on such surfaces for months without the proper surface treatment or cleaning. Our goal at Hollman is to help minimize the bacteria in locker rooms to create a safe and healthy environment.
As we all navigate a world post COVID, at Hollman our team is continuing to work on new innovative solutions that provide long-lasting results to enhance the safety and wellness of your environment. Here are a couple of ideas that we are working on.
Copper Infused Locks and Materials
Hollman is partnering with a mechanical metal lock vendor on launching a cooper lock solution for our clients. Research from National Center for Biotechnology Information has found that Copper surfaces have self-sanitizing properties. The use of antimicrobial metallic copper surfaces is likely to protect from infectious bacteria by reducing surface contamination.
UV Disinfectant Lighting
Our Research & Development team is working to develop self-disinfecting UV light lockers. This innovative solution will include motion sensors or timed UV light technology to kill bacteria and viruses on the interior surface of your locker while it is closed and after use. UV disinfecting light technology is a no-touch chemical-free solution that has been scientifically proven to kill pathogens often associated with infections and infectious diseases.
Touchless Lockers
Retrofit your mechanical lock with an RFID lock. The smart lock technology allows you to keep your belongings secure with minimal touching of surfaces. Create Boundaries
For workspace offices, adjust your floor plan by utilizing lockers as barriers to help create safe 6ft distancing between each workstation. Diminish any employee concerns with this adjustment with an added benefit of providing easier access and additional storage space for their personal belongings.
